This acrylic painting is of an ocean sunrise scene with a flock of birds out on patrol. The painting was inspired by my visit to Naples, FL. The reflections on the water are what make this scene stand out most to me, very subtle details with a big impact overall!

Drawing, Painting, and sketching are strong passions of mine along with electronic design and programming. It may seem odd to have such divergent passions but they actually compliment each other quite well and provide balance in my life. I enjoy painting in both oil and acrylic mediums and prefer landscape scenes. The ocean, beach, and forests are often themes in my work with a focus on attempting to capture the "moment" whether it's animals, people, or just nature displaying it's wonder.
