This painting was inspired by my trip to Tiger Tail Beach on Marco Island, Florida. The beach has some of the whitest sands I've ever seen. When I came across this piece of drift wood I couldn't resist creating a painting from it!

Drawing, Painting, and sketching are strong passions of mine along with electronic design and programming. It may seem odd to have such divergent passions but they actually compliment each other quite well and provide balance in my life. I enjoy painting in both oil and acrylic mediums and prefer landscape scenes. The ocean, beach, and forests are often themes in my work with a focus on attempting to capture the "moment" whether it's animals, people, or just nature displaying it's wonder.
