This painting was created from a sketch idea I had which originally included a field of English bluebells. As I created this piece I decided to change it to a grassy meadow!
The original painting is for sale which is a gallery wrapped canvas with the scene continuing on all sides.
About Joe Mandrick
Drawing, Painting, and sketching are strong passions of mine along with electronic design and programming. It may seem odd to have such divergent passions but they actually compliment each other quite well and provide balance in my life. I enjoy painting in both oil and acrylic mediums and prefer landscape scenes. The ocean, beach, and forests are often themes in my work with a focus on attempting to capture the "moment" whether it's animals, people, or just nature displaying it's wonder.
